| | | | | | | | Robert Burger |  | Robert Burger received his mechanical engineering education at Cornell University and is a member of the Cornell Society of Engineers. He has been active in the cooling tower industry for more than 40 years as a consultant, designer, contractor, and expert witness.
His companies have received International recognition for engineering, erection, and optimization of energy efficient cooling towers.
Burger is a recognized expert in the field, having written the only comprehensive, plain language textbook on the subject of cooling towers, "Cooling Tower Technology", and more than sixty articles for industry technical publications. He has also produced a unique "Seminar on Diskette" that teaches the basics of cooling tower technology using a standard personal computer. In recognition of his efforts as an educator, Burger was named "Engineer of the Year" in 1988 by the National Association of Power Engineers.
